Being a student at university can be so full of new experiences and surprises, that it can often fly by. Without realising, three (or more) years has gone by and, suddenly, you’ve graduated and are out in the ‘real world’ looking for a job.

But there are things you can do while still at university that will make you much more employable when you’re a graduate. By just keeping a few things in mind, it might make your search for a job much easier.

If you decide to get a part-time job while at university, see if you can get one in your chosen field of study. While bar jobs might seem like more fun, if you can show that you’re already working towards your career, your final job as a graduate may follow accordingly.
